Dog Team Numbers + race distances:
Pet Dog - 1 (one) dog, attached to you, skis, sled, wheels, running. 5km
Kids race - 1-2 dogs skijoring, 2-4 dogs sled. 5km
TWISTER - 2-3 dogs skijoring, 2-4 dogs sled. 12 mile
Remember wood for the firepit and goodies for the post-race potluck.
Hey all you "Twisted Twisters" just wanted to send a short note to wish you all the best in the season kick off tomorrow. Unfortunately Heather and I can't be there as we are still in Kamloops BC waiting on a transfer with our two newborn mushers, Sarah Grace and Adelaide Anne to Whitehorse General where they will live till they are fully feeding on their own.They are doing great and judging by the way they grip your finger, they are practicing their grip on the driving bow of a sled waiting for the day when they are ready to take that big step....
